Jessi Addresses Rumors About Her Relationship With PSY After Leaving P NATION
The world of K-Pop can sometimes seem regulated, and netizens believe that the expectations mean that idols can’t have a voice. One person who has never adhered to those expectations is soloist Jessi.
Since debuting, Jessi has never been afraid of sharing her thoughts on topics and setting any rumors clear.
Recently, Jessi shocked fans after leaving her company P NATION, especially considering how close she was to CEO PSY. As expected, rumors were flying about the reasoning behind Jessi’s decision.
Jessi recently spoke about her former P NATION boss and her dreams for the future during a concert in Europe. The idol has been traveling across Europe and, despite complications with the organizer, has been wowing fans with her immense talent and charisma.
During one of the shows, Jessi spoke honestly about her feelings towards PSY and P NATION. During the concert, Jessi chatted with fans and explained, “Every time I put PSY up with this video, I get kinda like sad…”
Of course, when Jessi shocked netizens by leaving P NATION, many assumed that there was bad blood or some kind of conflict between the two parties. In fact, it couldn’t be further from the truth and Jessi revealed the true nature of her friendship with PSY.

Jessi then went on to acknowledge the rumors and speculations surrounding her leaving the company.
A lot of people think that me and him are like, ‘Why did you f**king leave,’ like, ‘F**king P NATION.’

She explained that it couldn’t be further from the truth and that the core reason she left was for her own personal growth, and she also revealed her future plans.
No, I decided I’m going to start my own label. I’ve been doing it for 18 years. I don’t know what’s going to happen but I’m going to try my best.

The idol then went on to candidly share her struggles with mental health, and although she didn’t delve deep into it, she shared the impact it has had. Jessi also revealed her close bond with her family after sharing that her mother had come out to support her.
It isn’t the first time Jessi addressed speculations. When the news first broke, the idol shared an Instagram post. She thanked fans for their support and love and let everyone know that there were no negative feelings towards P NATION.
