Jessi Gives Unexpected Shoutout To BTS’s Jungkook During Her Livestream
K-Pop soloist Jessi recently held a livestream on TikTok where she made a sudden mention of BTS‘s Jungkook.
Known for her unfiltered honesty, Jessi’s livestreams always come with unpredictable moments, much to the amusement of fans. She also doesn’t shy away from showing her love to other K-Pop artists during these broadcasts, and that includes BTS. In the past, Jessi has mentioned the group multiple times, sharing stories of her interaction with the members.
During a previous livestream on Instagram, the singer had praised BTS for their genuine friendship with one another. After she attended J-Hope‘s star-studded listening party for his solo album Jack In The Box, Jessi again shared stories of her interaction with all the BTS members present at the event, praising RM for his leadership skills and dishing on how well she and Jimin bonded at the party.
During her recent TikTok livestream, Jessi once again gave a shoutout to a BTS member, this time it being Jungkook. While talking to fans, the “Nunu Nana” singer started humming the tune of Jungkook’s “Seven,” saying she “really like(d) the song.”

Pausing mid-way, she quoted the lyrics of the explicit version of the song, where the BTS maknae sings, “That’s why night after night, I’ll be f*cking you right.” Jessi said she was very happy that Jungkook included this lyric in the song, showing the world that he is a “grown man” now.

Though many idols have jammed to the explicit version of the song on camera, Jessi is probably the first artist to directly praise the lyrics. Even among fans, there was some divide regarding this version of “Seven,” with some even referring to it as the “dirty version.” Jungkook himself challenged the criticism, and explained that despite knowing fans might not react the same to the explicit version, he wanted to release the song to show a new and mature side of him.

Jessi’s words might have been simple, but given the context, it was still a warm gesture of support as a fellow artist.
Fans, however, found a bit of humor in the situation as well, The “grown man” comment reminded many of Jessi’s self-proclaimed crush on Jungkook.
This is even funnier when you remember she had a crush on him 😂😂😂 https://t.co/WEVmpng7ow
