“I Choose Jin”: The BTS Member Ends Up Between Trump And Biden In The Most Unexpected Way
BTS member Jin has once again proven his star power with his latest achievement.
On July 18, KST, a post went viral on the popular Korean online community, Theqoo, where the OP (original poster) shared some statistics regarding Jin being the second-most mentioned person on the internet in the past week. According to the numbers in the post, the singer was mentioned over 6 million times in the last seven days!
But a more intriguing aspect of these numbers lies in the fact that Jin outdid the current US President, Joe Biden, in this metric, who was mentioned 5.7 million times in the past week. Additionally, the only person who surpassed the BTS member in this regard was Donald Trump, former US President and the current Republican presidential candidate. Trump was mentioned a whopping 11 million times, largely owing to an alleged assassination attempt at a recent rally.
While Jin’s achievement on its own is impressive, Korean netizens were highly amused that he was sandwiched between two of the most-talked-about politicians in the globe right now. Many even joked that they would vote for Jin in the presidential election amidst the three.
