“That’s A Pretty Bad*ss Title” — Netizens React To First Teasers For Jini’s Debut Solo Album
A couple of weeks ago, netizens spotted what appeared to be a pre-order listing for the debut album of former NMIXX member Jini (formerly Jinni) on Target’s website. Since she left her former group last December and signed with a new label, UAP, earlier this year in March, fans have been curious to see what Jini had in store for her future career.

Earlier today, Jini confirmed netizens’ suspicions that she’s been preparing for a solo debut with the release of three teaser images for her upcoming debut album, An Iron Hand In A Velvet Glove.
The images are elegant and alluring, giving the aesthetic of delicate strength that perfectly fits the unique title of the album.
Though a date for the album to drop hasn’t yet been confirmed, the Target listing gave the release date of October 23. The listing has since been deleted, though, so it’s unclear if that was accurate or not.
Netizens are reacting with intrigue and interest over the teaser images, with many excited to check out Jini’s music once it’s released.
Some are comparing the concept to the anime Violet Evergarden, which would be an awesome theme to have!
Others are just glad that there’s clear evidence that Jini is going to have a future career in music, rather than have her talents go to waste.
