Jo Byeong Kyu‘s (also known as Jo Byung Kyu) alleged school bullying victim called for an open investigation and challenged the actor to a ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $7.80 million USD) bet.
The alleged former schoolmate of Jo Byeong Kyu reportedly called for a public investigation, even betting the actor and his label ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $7.80 million USD) that the evidence would be on his side.
According to reports, Jo Byeong Kyu’s alleger revealed the four conditions to his challenge.
- Once both sides agree, the person who doesn’t follow through will be seen as having lied.
- Have the police at the school where the bullying occurred investigate.
- Agree to undergo a lie detector test and to be hypnotized.
- For the label to guarantee the ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $7.80 million USD) and for the challenge to be separate from pending criminal and civil litigation.
The accuser reportedly stated that if he was to lose, he’d voluntarily enlist in the Korean military and clean up a public space for ten years.
One of us is lying and maliciously manipulating the facts. If the open investigation proves that I was lying, I will voluntarily enlist in the Korean military and clean up a public space for 10 years.
