New K-Drama Stirs Controversy With Both Leads Being Accused Previously Of School Violence

New series History of the Losers is set to premiere on February 26, 2025. Xportsnews reported that the highly anticipated series will officially launch on popular OTT platforms Wavve and Watcha.
In advance of the series’ release, a teaser trailer will be dropped on the morning of February 26, while promotional activities will be kept to a minimum, focusing mainly on content shared via social media and other online platforms.
Based on the popular webtoon by Kim Poong and Sim Yoonsoo, History of the Losers explores the universal theme of love and relationships, portraying how anyone can inevitably find themselves on the losing side. The series stars controversial actors Cho Byeong Kyu and Song Ha Yoon.
Naturally, netizens were not impressed at the pairing. Both actors had previously been swept up in bullying controversies.

- Oh, were they both bullies?
- Seems like they need to change the title.
- Why did Wavve buy it?
- The original writer is pitiful.
- Bully couple LOL.
Although filming wrapped in August 2022, the series’ release was delayed for three years due to school bullying allegations involving lead actors. As a result, the official release date had been uncertain until now. You can read more about their scandals below.
