Jo Kwon, ASTRO’s MJ And NU’EST Ren’s Musical, “Jamie” To Halt Shows Due To The Spike In Coronavirus Cases
Musical Jamie has now been placed on hold due to the spikes in coronavirus cases all over South Korea.
Just last week, South Korea started facing a new wave of infections and have now officially moved into level 2 social distancing. As such, musicals are being forced to wrap up early, or halt their shows.
Jamie, which stars ASTRO‘s MJ, NU’EST‘s Ren and Jo Kwon as the titular main lead, revealed on the 24th of August via their official Instagram page to announce that due to the spike in COVID19 cases, the musical will be placed on hold until the 30th of August.
They have plans to reopen the musical for shows from the 1st of September onwards, although this can be changed. Tickets for shows 25th through 30th will be refunded without additional processing fees.
The musical Jamie has been facing immense success, especially with the breakout of Jo Kwon who is known to embrace his androgynous image, befitting with the character of Jamie.
