JOO signs exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment after leaving JYPE
With her contract with JYP Entertainment expired, female soloist JOO has moved on and signed an exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment.
On April 7th, it was revealed that she had officially joined the agency who currently houses male groups INFINITE and Tasty, band Nell, and rookie girl group Lovelyz. Now under Woollim, JOO is looking to be more active in the entertainment industry.
In January 2015, JOO’s contract with JYPE had expired and opted not to renew with the agency. At the time, the agency revealed that the two parties had parted amicably.
JOO made her debut in 2008 with the track “Because of a Man,” and her last single was released in 2011, “Ice Cream” featuring Super Junior‘s Leeteuk. Since then, she has been busy working as a musical actress in Catch Me If You Can and Full House.
She is also known as the older sister of BTOB‘s Jung Ilhoon.
