JTBC’s Star Choice To Play Song Joong Ki’s Younger Version In New K-Drama Gains Attention

Rising actor Nam Da Reum has been cast in JTBC’s upcoming K-Drama My Youth, where he will portray the younger version of Song Joong Ki’s character. The surprising casting decision has already generated excitement among fans and viewers.

According to reports from TenAsia on January 14, Nam Da Reum’s role is expected to bring added depth to the character and the series overall.

My Youth tells the story of Hae Sun Woo, who embarks on a journey to start a normal life later than most, and Sung Jae Yeon, who faces the dilemma of disrupting their first love’s peace to pursue personal success. The show boasts a star-studded cast, including Song Joong Ki, Chun Woo Hee, Lee Joo Myung, and Seo Ji Hoon, with its release scheduled for later this year.

Nam Da Reum (born in 2002) made his acting debut in 2009 as the younger version of Kim Hyun Joong’s character in Boys Over Flowers. Despite his young age at the time, he gained recognition for his impressive acting skills and striking visuals. Over the years, he has appeared in various popular dramas, such as Six Flying Dragons, While You Were Sleeping, Hotel Del Luna, and Start-Up.
