Jung Hae In’s Real-life Treatment Of Staff Members Comes To Surface As His Colleagues Share On-Set Stories
A handsome face and an incredible actor— Jung Hae In might be known for these two primary virtues among his fans, but to his colleagues, his reputation shines elsewhere.
On August 13, Jung Hae In appeared as a special guest on the YouTube channel TEO with his tvN drama Love Next Door co-stars Jung So Min and Kim Ji Eun. While talking about working with the actor, Jung So Min praised him, saying he is very mindful of the people he works with.

“He also buys a lot of delicious food,” she added, to which Kim Ji Eun agreed readily. When the MC enquired about it a bit more, Kim Ji Eun replied by saying that during the filming, one day, her manager brought in a huge bag full of pastries from a popular bakery nearby and told her that Jung Hae In had bought those for his co-stars!
The actress also recalled another occasion when Jung Hae In splurged to feed the staff on set.
Since I don’t earn a lot of money, I gave my staff a small amount of money so that they won’t feel degraded, but they gave it back to me. So I asked why, and apparently Hae In gave them his credit card.

Jung So Min revealed that Jung Hae In had treated all 200 people at another group dinner to beef. The actor then joked that though the restaurant had both pork and beef as options, everyone just kept eating beef, so he encouraged them to try out the pork as well. “When other teams have a gathering, they usually block the beef…I felt bad blocking a menu that was available, so I told them not to block the order but checked on the bill in the middle,” Hae In added, elaborating on the backstory. “When people started drinking alcohol, the bill went up drastically,” he said, making everyone laugh.
When the MC asked how much the actor ended up spending at the dinner, Jung Hae In revealed that it was “not in the millions.” Kim Ji Eun then chimed in, saying she loved working with Jung Hae In simply because he often bought food for everyone!
