Former Red Sox member Jungmyung revealed the reason for her divorce.
On the September 19 episode of Love After Divorce 6, the contestants spoke about their painful past marriages. Love After Divorce is a popular dating series in which a group of divorcees live with one another while looking for love.
In the episode, Jungmyung revealed that she first met her husband in High School.
I met my past partner when he was in High School. He is my first love. Because his family was rich, I lived off of an allowance they gave me.

The former girl group member then revealed the reason why the couple divorced.
We always had to live with or be around his family. Whether we were traveling or just living, our marriage constantly involved them. Because of this, I started losing myself and autonomy over my life. I wanted my husband to be financially independent of them, but we couldn’t communicate throughout our marriage so we got divorced.

Meanwhile, Jungmyung debuted with the group Red Sox in 2005. The idol has since become an actress recently starring in the 2020 K-Drama, Mom Has An Affair. The idol married in 2009.
