Ex-JYP Entertainment Trainee Cecilia Treats Fans To Rare Pre-debut Photos Of Park Seoham, Ahn Hyo Seop, TWICE’s Nayeon And DAY6’s Young K
It’s a well-known fact by now that two of the hottest actors in South Korea at the moment used to be trainees in JYP Entertainment. Park Seoham of Semantic Error fame and Ahn Hyo Seop of Business Proposal fame both trained in the prestigious company. In fact, they were almost slated to debut in GOT7.
In Ahn Hyo Seop’s case, he had moved from Canada to South Korea to pursue his dreams. He trained and dormed with the GOT7 boys. However, he eventually quit because he thought that his skills were not yet up to par. His tall height also stood out amongst the other members.
On the other hand, Park Seoham previously went viral when fans belatedly realized he used to train with BTS in BigHit Entertainment. Following that, he had joined JYP Entertainment, where he trained with GOT7 and DAY6 members. During a variety show, Hitmaker, Jackson from GOT7 had been happy to see Park Seoham with his new group KNK. Jackson shared that he had been in the same debut team as Park Seoham. Unfortunately, Park Seoham did not make the cut and ended up making his debut with KNK. Later, after leaving KNK, he entered the acting industry after signing with an entertainment company set up by an ex-VP from JYP Entertainment.
As the two are becoming hot topics, former JYP trainee Cecilia Boey released some pre-debut photos of the two. The photos not only show a rare glimpse of Park Seoham and Ahn Hyo Seop from their teenage years, but it also features TWICE‘s Nayeon and DAY6‘s Young K.
The photo had likely been taken behind the scenes during one of JYP Entertainment’s iconic trainee showcases. The girls are all dolled up, with Cecilia even having glitter under her eyes.
Out of the five of them, only two stayed with JYP Entertainment and made their debut. As explained earlier, Park Seoham left and ended up debuting with KNK, while Cecilia went to China to pursue an acting career.
All’s well, ends well! All five of them are currently successful in their own right. It would be a delight to see a reunion of these iconic JYP Entertainment trainees though!
