K-Drama To Watch? Latest Episode Of Ahn Eun Jin’s Melodrama Nearly Doubles Ratings
The K-Drama world is never short of surprises, and the latest sensation has audiences all over South Korea hooked. Historical melodrama My Dearest, featuring Ahn Eun Jin and Nam Koong Min, has managed to skyrocket its ratings in a short span of five episodes. Astonishingly, its latest episode has almost doubled the numbers.
Nielsen Korea ratings illustrate an impressive trajectory for My Dearest. With the show’s premiere episode already winning over the hearts of audiences nationwide with a 5.4 percent rating, it seemed the show had struck gold right from the start.
The rating was enough to make My Dearest occupy MBC’s prime Friday and Saturday 9:50 PM time slot. According to Nielsen Korea, it took over Numbers‘ place, which had a 4.7 percent rating.
However, despite a slight dip in the second episode, which registered 4.3 percent, the series has been on an upward trajectory. The latest fifth episode registered a whopping 8.4 percent nationwide.
