Byeon Woo Seok’s “airport security” controversy is still hot in the entertainment industry.
An online video revealed Byeon’s security guard using a flashlight at civilians to prevent them from filming. The video went viral online, with many criticizing the security team’s actions.

The security team CEO quickly admitted that “it was the security guard’s fault for having shone the flashlight” and “wished to deeply apologize for making civilians uncomfortable.”
Most recently, although Byeon Woo Seok’s agency issued an official apology online, they still received criticism from netizens.
With this, K-media expressed its take on the situation and felt there were certain boundaries that needed to be made.
After the security controversy, Byeon’s agency reduced the number of bodyguards from six to three, but this wasn’t enough to block the fans from the airport. Fans also continued to show up at private schedules despite the agency’s warnings refraining them from doing so.
