Fans Call Out “KAMP LA 2022” Organizers As Multiple Artists Are Having Difficulty Flying To Los Angeles

Fans are worried that some artists won’t be able to attend at all.

KAMP LA 2022 boasts an incredible lineup for its two-day concert, including GOT7‘s BamBam, iKON, Somi, EXO‘s Kai, LAPILLUS, P1Harmony, Super Junior, and Taeyeon on the first day. The lineup for the second day includes aespa, Chungha, Epik High, MOMOLAND, MONSTA X, T1419, and Zion.T.

Fans have been understandably excited about the event, although the organizer’s decision to prohibit the distribution of unofficial artist merchandise left fans a bit frustrated.

One of the many appeals of a K-Pop concert is how fans come together to support their favorite artists, with many fans creating freebies to distribute. By prohibiting unofficial merchandise like fan-made freebies, fans feel like KAMP LA 2022 will lack a key part of the K-Pop concert experience.

Unfortunately, new concerns about the concert have arisen as multiple artists seem to have difficulty flying to Los Angeles.

GOT7’s BamBam took to Twitter to suggest that he was having difficulties with his flight.

Similarly, Somi posted a picture of her luggage to her Instagram Story with the caption “dotdotdotdotdotdotdot,” leading fans to believe that she was also experiencing difficulties with her flight.

Super Junior contacted fans through Bubble to warn them not to wait in the cold because their flight was delayed because of a visa issue.

Although some members of Super Junior have since been able to board a flight to Los Angeles, according to fans, other members will have to fly later.

Other artists performing on the first day, EXO’s Kai, Girls’ Generation’s Tayeon, and LAPILLUS, seemingly also have difficulties with their flights.

Fans are demanding answers from the event’s organizers since it seems like the artists’ visas were not prepared properly.

While some fans believe that the CEO of KAMP Global is the same Tim Kim who Jessi recently called out for stranding her in Europe, fans are pointing out that they are two different people who ironically share the same name.

As of now, there has been no update from the event organizers.
