Kang Hyewon Reveals Her Ideal Type And Which IZ*ONE Member Comes To Her Mind
Former IZ*ONE‘s Kang Hyewon recently opened up her own personal YouTube channel and for her first independent video she decided to ask her fans to help her with a Q&A.
She shared that she was so excited that she “read the comments beforehand” which must’ve taken some time as she received around 2,700 comments on her request.
Within her first few questions she was asked “What is your ideal type of person?”
She then explained that
Not in a romantic way, but just as a person… I feel someone is really nice when they express a lot. Whether it be a friend, producer… If you like something, they say they like it. I like people who are frank in every way.

After expressing this, Hyewon cheekily told her audience “I bet all of you are going ‘That’s Me!’ It may be you!?”
As she continued to scroll, she realized there were many questions surrounding her ideal type.
The next question she chose to answer was “Which member is closest to [her] ideal type?”
Rather than answer directly, Hyewon seems to dodge the question by saying that “rather than ideal type… I don’t know why, but this is so funny. Yuri?”
She is, of course, referring to fellow former IZ*ONE member Jo Yuri who she continued to talk about.
When explaining her choice she expressed that she “met Yuri recently” and that the question was “too difficult.”
Even if Yuri isn’t her “ideal type”, their friendship is on another level. The pair even recently did a pictorial for Elle Korea (for which Hyewon also uploaded a behind-the-scenes to her channel).
Later in the Q&A a fan asked what wasn’t included in her behind-the-scenes video and Hyewon adorably shared that “In the middle, we pretended to be married. That was edited out.”
