Goo Hara‘s brother, Goo Ho In, was filed a lawsuit against his mom for the division of Goo Hara’s inheritance. Goo Ho In and his dad have been trying to fight against his mom who had abandoned them when he was just a child but is now trying to have a stake at Goo Hara’s wealth after her death.
As the lawsuit is currently underway, Goo Ho In’s legal team decided to use the witness questioning method to help prove their case. His mom asked the court to deny his request to question witnesses but the court decided to accept all witnesses.
Reports revealed that Goo Ho In called in three witnesses who had deep relationships with Hara. Goo Hara’s aunt, her friend, and Kang Jiyoung‘s dad will be questioned for the lawsuit.
Goo Hara’s aunt had raised Hara and Ho In ever since their mom abandoned them. She’s expected to testify about how Hara had grown up without their mother and just how much their mom was absent in their lives.
Kang Jiyoung is a fellow KARA member who had been with Hara since their trainee days nearly a decade ago. Her dad has been a steady figure who’s been with the members during their promotional period and is expected to testify about Hara during her days with KARA.
Lastly, one of Hara’s friends who has known her best for the past 4 years will testify about Hara’s most recent years.
Aside from his upcoming lawsuit against his mom, Goo Ho In has been working hard to help pass the “Goo Hara Act”. The act aims to prevent parents who did not raise their children from inheriting their children’s wealth after their death.
The “Goo Hara Act” will be given a second chance as the Legislation and Judiciary Committee’s 21st committee is set to review the bill.
