KARA’s Gyuri Roasts X’s New Policy Of Hiding Likes

She is having none of it!

Recently, the popular social media platform X (formerly Twitter) rolled out a new policy under which users will no longer be able to see which posts a particular user has liked on the platform. This is one of the many policies introduced by the new team under Elon Musk that has received intensely adverse reactions from end users. It turns out that KARA member Gyuri also has a bone to pick with X over this policy.

KARA’s Gyuri

Shortly after its announcement, the idol took to her X profile and made a post scoffing at X’s current state.

Hiding the likes on my profile? Try hiding the nudes on my profile or something.

— Gyuri

The idol took a jab at X’s decision to hide Likes while the platform is overrun by bot accounts that post pornographic content under unsuspecting Tweets. Most of these accounts reply with the same text: “Nudes in my profile.” Despite users complaining about these accounts, X has done virtually nothing to address the issue.

Funnily enough, a stray bot account found its way under Gyuri’s post, with the same text written in Korean. The idol even responded to it, expressing her annoyance.

Bot profile: My nudes in my profile.

Gyuri: Ugh, this f*cker.

Gyuri’s cheeky criticism of the X policy has amused netizens, who have flooded her post with praise for her sense of humor.
