KARA’s Kang Jiyoung Drops Off A Special Gift For Her Beloved Goo Hara
KARA recently made a triumphant comeback with “When I Move.” The song marked their first comeback as a full five ever — 2nd generation members Nicole and Kang Jiyoung left before they could promote with 3rd generation newcomer, Heo Youngji.
The album marked their 15th year anniversary, making KARA one of the longest running groups. Unfortunately, 2nd generation member Goo Hara, passed on in 2019. Kang Jiyoung was especially close to Goo Hara.
Kang Jiyoung has been known to visit her beloved friends that have passed on. Earlier in the year, she visited f(x)‘s Sulli and even brought her a peach.

As soon as KARA’s promotions for “When I Move” ended, Jiyoung made a trip to visit Hara. She even brought a meaningful gift with her. Jiyoung gifted Hara with a copy of their latest album, citing the comeback as what Hara had hoped for.
Unnie! Very good days for us are here. Can you hear me? This moment was what unnie had wanted. I love you! I miss you.
— Jiyoung
Hopefully Hara is smiling up there, as she watches the other members continue to shine.
