Korean Public Weighs In On KATSEYE’s Final Member Lineup
KATSEYE made their debut on June 28, 2024, with the single “Debut.”
After the release of their Netflix documentary, Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, the girls are gaining recognition belatedly from the Korean public. While the Korean public barely took part in voting during Dream Academy, they are now showing interest in the group. The final lineup has been garnering praise in online communities.
The maknae was introduced as Yoonchae from Korea.
Sophia hails from Philippines and serves as the group’s leader.
Child Disney star Megan is American, but has roots in Singapore. Her mother is Singaporean-Chinese, while her father is American-Swedish.
Fan-favorite Manon is Italian-Ghanian.
Lara, the vocal powerhouse, is American-Indian.
Dance prodigy Daniela is Cuban-American.
Koreans were in full praise of the dynamics of the group, complimenting how well the multi-national group was formed.
