A viewer commented that they are trying to “Lunch” by Billie Eilish with their best friend. However, the viewer does not know if their friend is also queer. For context, “lesbian anthem” “Lunch” is one of Billie Eilish’s most explicitly queer songs. It famously includes the lyrics, “I could eat that girl for lunch. Yeah, she dances on my tongue,” cheekily meaning that Billie’s infatuation with another girl drives her to want to pleasure her orally.
Lara read the viewer’s dilemma out loud, explaining, “That’s definitely really awkward … I can’t say I’ve been in that situation, honestly.” Despite claiming not to be able to relate, Lara gave heartfelt advice, saying, “You have to think about is the friendship more important to you.”
Maybe here’s what you should do.
