KATSEYE Surprise With Their Impressive Multilingual Skills On “Music Bank”

They’re truly a global group!

KATSEYE, formed through the HYBE x GEFFEN survival show The Debut: Dream Academy, recently began their South Korean promotions. Previously, they made their Korean music show debut on Mnet‘s M!Countdown, performing their hits “Debut” and “Touch.”

Now, KATSEYE have performed on KBS Music Bank. They are continually impressing netizens with their live vocals and stage presence.

Since KATSEYE is a global girl group with only one Korean member, Yoonchae, it’s expected that they might not be able to communicate as easily in Korea.

Yet, the KATSEYE members surprised fans when the members all spoke in Korean at Music Bank.

While they initially introduced themselves in English, they proved their multilingual skills throughout the interview. Many of the girls can speak multiple languages, so Sophia even sang “Touch” in Filipino. The clip went viral with over 346K views at the time of writing.

Netizens are incredibly impressed with Lara. Many think she’ll soon be fluent in Korean.

Sophia revealed that they actually got some help from LE SSERAFIM. They met in person at Music Bank, and the members even helped them practice their Korean. Eunchae was especially helpful.
