KATSEYE‘s Lara recently addressed dating rumors involving herself and other group members.
On April 15, Lara sent messages on the Weverse DM platform, directly telling fans she was not dating Daniela and Manon. The star stated that they are friends and that dating them would feel like “incest.”
While Lara handled this in a very smooth way, it has sparked discussions online about shipping, boundaries and sexuality.
Lara recently came out as queer, and admitted she had concerns it would affect her debut.
Some netizens criticized those assuming that Lara’s close relationships with other women could not be platonic in nature, a harmful stereotype.
