KBS 2TV’s “The Seasons” Announces A New Host As Zico Bows Out

On September 6, KST, Zico hosted his last episode of KBS 2TV‘s The Seasons as its MC.

Zico’s stint as the show’s host ended with a grand finale episode that saw his group BLOCK B reunite and perform for the first time since 2022.

Zico also thanked his audience and the production team through a handwritten letter after the final recording.

For me, ‘The Seasons’ was not a season coming and going. It was more like a dream—seventeen precious dreams in which I experienced the warmth of spring, the intense heat of summer, the soothing comfort of autumn, and the longing of winter. I am truly grateful to the production team for welcoming me as a family and allowing me to share with the world Woo Jiho the human, not just Zico the singer. I also thank the fans and viewers who have continuously supported me. I love you all. Let’s meet again someday for sure.

Afterwards, The Seasons revealed its next amd sixth MC, rapper Lee Youngji. The teaser for the next season also unveiled that it will start airing on September 27, KST, at 10 PM.

Lee Youngji will be joining the iconic lineup consisting of Jay Park, Jannabi’s Choi Jung Hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyori, and Zico, as the newly appointed host of this popular music talk show.
