This week’s episode of KBS Music Bank has been cancelled after a production team member tested positive for Covid-19.
According to an exclusive report from SPOTV, Music Bank was urgently cancelled after the production team learned that one of their staff members tested positive for Covid-19. The staff member’s result was confirmed during the afternoon of May 20, just one day before the broadcast of the Music Bank episode.
Currently, health authorities are working to identify the close contacts of the production team member. Out of precaution, the live broadcast for Music Bank has been cancelled. Luckily, the positive test result was announced just prior to pre-recordings, so no idol groups were present in the recording hall when the positive test was announced.
Idols that were scheduled to perform on Music Bank included SHAX, Taemin, and ITZY.
