Kep1er Renews Contract With Only 7 Members As 2 Members Depart
7 Kep1er members have renewed their contract.
On May 30, Kep1er’s labels revealed that 7 of its members have renewed their contract to stay together, however Mashiro and Kang Yeseo will be leaving the group. Below is the company’s official statement.
Hello, this is WAKEONE Entertainment and Swing Entertainment.
We have come to terms so that Kep1er’s Choi Yujin, Xiaoting, Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Youngeun can continue promoting together.
As of this agreement, Kep1er will continue on as a 7-member group.
After long discussions, Mashiro and Kang Yeseo will end their Kep1er promotions after their upcoming concert. We thank Mashiro and Kang Yeseo for doing their best during the 2 years 6 months they were with the group and we will continue to root for them in the future.
WAKEONE and Swing Entertainment will do our best to help support the members during their upcoming album, which will be the first and last time that all 9 members participate and beyond. We ask that you send them your love and support.
