Netizens Point Out Double Standards Between Kep1er And ZEROBASEONE
Netizens are calling out double standards between ZEROBASEONE and Kep1er.
Both groups are under Wake One Entertainment and formed through survival shows. Kep1er was formed through Girls Planet 999, while ZEROBASEONE was formed through Boys Planet.
Despite these similarities, netizens are finding that ZEROBASEONE is allegedly being treated better than Kep1er.
ZEROBASEONE’s Matthew and Ricky recently celebrated their birthdays. The group’s official social media accounts celebrated by sharing a special photoshoot for the birthday boys.
Yet, the Kep1er members’ birthday posts have always just been edits made from pre-existing pictures. There have been no birthday photoshoots.
Some fans have pointed out that ZEROBASEONE has not really had any concept photos done yet that could be used for birthday posts. Hence, the need for birthday shoots.
Still, the difference between Kep1er and ZEROBASEONE’s birthday live broadcasts is also outstanding. While the boys had decorated rooms and extravagant cakes, the girls had the bare minimum.
Regardless of the alleged double standards raised by netizens, fans of Kep1er have long pointed out mistreatment. They have noticed that the members have even reused stage outfits and shared clothing.
So, netizens continue calling on Wake One Entertainment to treat their artists fairly.
