Kep1er’s Xiaoting Calls Out Company’s Lies Amidst Messy Drama
Kep1er‘s Xiaoting is currently caught in drama surrounding her schedules.
After most Kep1er members re-signed with WakeOne, the group signed with KLAP Entertainment. KLAP was announced to handle the group’s Korean schedules and activities, which many fans approved.
Following this, Xiaoting also began to have more solo schedules in China, which was also anticipated.

However, recently, it was shared that Xiaoting would essentially halt group activities in December. The information was only shared after the organizer of a fan sign updated fans that the idol would only be attending after either company gave notice.
Kep1er’s official X account issued a statement officially sharing that Xiaoting would not join December schedules with the reason given being her focus on activities in China for the month.

The idol also apologized for her upcoming absences, earning sympathy from fans over what seemed to be scheduling conflicts, even though the idol returned to Korea after a Chinese schedule on December 1 and is currently still there.

The company responsible for her activities in China shared an update, that raised more questions than answers. In the statement, TopClass claimed that it is not because of her Chinese schedules, but rather the “complicated” situation in Korea .
TopClass also shared that her activities are agreed on by all parties, and that arrangements could be made so that she would not miss group activities.
Here, we would like to specifically explain, Xiaoting’s personal schedules are confirmed after adequate communication with the Korean side in advance. Right now, the situation in Korea is relatively complicated, and the artist’s safety and health are our number one priority. Therefore, her non-attendance at the group fansign is not due to her personal schedules in China. The details of the fansign are arranged by the Korean company, and we do not interfere with group activities. The Korean side also expressed that Xiaoting’s personal schedules would not interfere with the arrangement of Kep1er’s group activities.
This difference between the statements have sparked criticism towards the companies, with some believing Xiaoting actually shaded one before the announcements were made.
On December 4, a day before the two companies shared statements, Xiaoting uploaded a photo of Pinocchio to her Instagram story.
The image shows Pinocchio’s nose beginning to grow, which only happens when he lies.
As fans have shared their beliefs that one of the two companies is lying, it is assumed that this was a “call out.”
