KickFlip Members Unexpectedly Kiss In Front Of ITZY’s Yeji And Lia

It seems like JYP Entertainment‘s newest boy group KickFlip is already making headlines, but not for what you would expect. During a recent variety filming with ITZY‘s Yeji and Lia, two members of the rookie group shocked everyone with an unexpected kiss that has sent K-Pop social media into a frenzy.

The shocking moment happened while filming a TikTok dance challenge segment. When BLACKPINK Rosé‘s hit song “APT” started playing, Yeji and Lia playfully suggested that KickFlip members Kyehoon and Donghwa should kiss during the part where the lyrics go “I’m tryna kiss your lips for real.”

What started as a joke quickly turned into reality when the two boys actually went for it, sharing a seemingly quick peck that left even their senior artists stunned.

The clip has since gone viral, sparking quite the reaction from international fans on social media but also from Korean netizens on different forums.

It’s worth noting that such public “displays of affection” are pretty rare in K-Pop, especially from a newly debuted group performing in front of their sunbaes. The bold move has definitely gotten fans talking, though reactions seem to be mixed. While some fans are expressing discomfort with the unexpected kiss, others are praising the members for their playful and easygoing attitudes.
It's the fact they were prolly giggling at the fact they "kissed"😂 but we didn't know #KickFlip #donghwa #Kyehoon pic.twitter.com/x2ffoPsLqK

Comments on one particular trending post about the “kiss” on Instiz have gained attention.

- “Wow, I really hate this…”
- “Huh? Do fans actually like that?”
- “That’s impressive in many ways.”
- “What did I just witness?”
- “I feel dizzy…”
- “I’ve never seen a rookie do something like that before.”
Whether intentional or not, KickFlip has managed to grab everyone’s attention with their take on the APT challenge. One thing’s for sure – this certainly isn’t your typical rookie group introduction to the K-pop world!
