Kim Jaejoong Writes Handwritten Letter To Lee Soo Man While On The Plane

Kim Jaejoong, returning with a full-length album for his 20th debut anniversary, revealed that he wants to “try everything I can before I turn 40.” His fourth full-length album, FLOWER GARDEN, is set to drop on June 26.

When asked how he felt about celebrating his 20th debut anniversary, he revealed he was reflecting on the past to live better for the future.

He also shared a story of meeting Lee Soo Man coincidentally on a plane.

About the year before last, I met Lee Soo Man on a plane. His seat was also two seats over from me, so I wrote him a letter. In the letter, I wrote, ’A lot of time has passed, and there were many conflicts, unfortunate events, and things that weren’t able to be resolved, but thinking back on it now, it was you who gave me the confidence to become the person I am today. As the number one contributor in K-Pop, I hope you continue to create good IP.’

When asked what his opinion was on the “SM face,” he stated, “Firstly, ‘Jaejoong face’ has an angled chin. It can’t be too pointy of a V-line shape. They have to have masculine outlines and intense eyes.”
