Kim Jong Kook joins Mnet’s “I Can See Your Voice” as host
Kim Jong Kook will be busy this year as it was confirmed he will be replacing Kim Bum Soo as the third host in I Can See Your Voice. This is in addition to being a regular cast member on the newly renewed Running Man.
Numerous entertainment officials have told TV Report on January 25 that Kim Jong Kook will be replacing Kim Bum Soo as he is leaving the show to focus on his North America tour starting in February.
Kim Jong Kook is already close with the other two hosts, Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Yoo Se Yoon. The three hosts will likely have great chemistry and bring a lot of fun to the the show.
I Can See Your Voice is a show where some contestants are excellent singers while others are tone deaf. The invited celebrity guests then choose contestants to eliminate in each round until there is only one contestant left. If the contestant who makes it to the final round is tone-deaf, they win 5 million won. If the contestant that makes it to the end is a good singer, they are then able to sing a duet with the celebrity and release it as a digital single.
