Kim Jong Kook’s Testosterone Levels Are So High, They’re Double That Of An Average Male
Kim Jong Kook has become famously known for his love affair with working out and clean eating. The singer has been around in the industry since 1995, and while he has gone on to become one of South Korea’s biggest entertainers, his image as the workout king has remained steady and strong. The Running Man cast member recently appeared on JTBC‘s Ceremony Club (Seri Money Club) where he discussed his health and love for exercising.
It all began when Yang Se Chan, who is not only Kim Jong Kook’s Running Man co-member but also one of his friends, uttered an astonishing fact about Kim Jong Kook.
His testosterone level is 9! The average male testosterone level is below 5.
— Yang Se Chan
To this, the fellow members of the show artist Heo Young Man and Lee Sung Kyung couldn’t help but express their absolute disbelief.
Kim Jong Kook and his well-known fit physique has always been the talk of the town, but his high testosterone levels still managed to shock the studio.
Kim Jong Kook explained that he feels a “sense of duty to create a world where you can live a healthy lifestyle by exercising. [He] wants to create a world like that.”
To this, artist Heo Young Man couldn’t help but counter Kim Jong Kook’s passion for working out by sharing his opinion.
If you dedicate 2 hours a day to working out, people who don’t exercise will live even longer with those 2 hours.
— Heo Young Man
Kim Jong Kook countered the artist’s comment by sharing that the “2 hours make [him] the happiest.” To which Heo Young Man asked jokingly if his “backtalk” was the reason why Kim Jong Kook couldn’t get married.
Is this why you can’t get married?
— Heo Young Man
Admitting his defeat, Kim Jong Kook acknowledged that that might actually be the very reason why he remains single.
That is absolutely crazy! You can catch Kim Jong Kook on the most recent episode of Ceremony Club on JTBC or on his fitness-related YouTube channel, Gym Jong Kook.
