Actor and rapper Kim Min Jae has announced his mandatory military enlistment. He is known for many beloved K-Dramas, such as Dr. Romantic, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (also known as Goblin), Tempted, Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency, Do You Like Brahms?, Dali & Cocky Prince, and Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist.
On September 6, Kim Min Jae’s agency, Nyam Nyam Entertainment, announced his upcoming enlistment in a statement. It was revealed that he would enlist on September 18.
Kim Min Jae will enlist in the military on September 18 and fulfill his mandatory duties. We ask for fans’ continued love and support until he returns from the military in good health.

Kim Min Jae also personally shared the news via his official fan café. The multitalented actor revealed that he will join the military band.
Today, I have something I want to tell you directly. I think many people were curious, but I will enlist in the military on September 18 to fulfill my mandatory national defense duties. I will be enlisting in the military band, and I feel very sad that I will not see you all for a while, but I am also excited and grateful because I will be able to experience and learn more through my time in the military.
