The late Kim Sae Ron’s family has responded to the claims YouTuber Lee Jin Ho has made regarding being possessed by a spirit to return to acting after her drunk driving accident.
On April 14, the bereaved family denied the claims to a media outlet.
It is false news that a spirit possessed her. She became interested in the field after appearing in a work based on folk beliefs in the past. The shaman is just an acquaintance and nothing more.

She previously appeared in the movie Manshin: Ten Thousand Spirits and the K-Drama The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim, both of which dealt with folk beliefs, causing her to be interested in the field naturally.
Recently, Lee Jin Ho claimed that Kim Sae Ron received a spirit possession last September so that she could return to acting.
He stated that the owner of the Apgujeong Pub received a spirit possession that influenced the deceased. It was a family member (his wife) that got the shinaerim (Korean Shamanism in which a person receives a spirit to become a Shaman.)
The pub owner was also the “good friend” that released a voice recording to allege that actor Kim Soo Hyun remains at the center of her death.
However, the Apgujeong Pub owner denied the claims.
If Sae Ron were possessed by a spirit and I had arranged it, I would close the store immediately and quietly disappear.
