Kim Sae Ron’s Father Explicitly Calls Out YouTuber That Influenced Her Death

The bereaved family of the late Kim Sae Ron has expressed that she suffered significant emotional distress due to a series of exposé videos posted by a particular YouTuber. Her father shared a statement at her funeral that called the YouTuber out
According to the statement, the YouTuber uploaded a video criticizing Kim Sae Ron after she posted several wedding-themed photos on her social media in January, with the title, “Kim Sae Ron’s self-deletion again… Gone into hiding after marriage rumors? Tried contacting her directly”. In the video, he claimed to have attempted to reach Kim Sae Ron but was unable to, questioning her sincerity regarding self-reflection. Netizens later found his identity to be Lee Jin Ho.
Following the news of Kim Sae Ron’s passing, the YouTuber has since deleted or set to private all related videos on their channel. Not only this, but the YouTuber had previously received reports that Kim Sae Ron was working at a café due to financial difficulties and made a YouTube video about it. His questioning of her sincerity, ledto further public scrutiny and attacks from other malicious YouTubers and the public. It was also reported that Kim Sae Ron’s family are collecting and compiling related materials in case they choose to take legal action against him.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron was found deceased in her residence in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, at 4:54 PM on the 16th.
