Kim Soo Hyun’s Agency Denies Working With Controversial YouTuber Lee Jin Ho Against Kim Sae Ron
Kim Soo Hyun‘s co-founded agency, GOLD MEDALIST, released a new statement on March 18, 2025. They denied all claims to have been working with malicious YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. Lee Jin Ho was heavily blamed for Kim Sae Ron‘s death after her parents singled him out.
The agency denied any affiliation with him and accused Garo Sero Research Institute of distorting facts. During a previous statement, Garo Sero Research Institute linked GOLD MEDALIST and Lee Jin Ho together, by claiming that a manager from the company was close with Lee Jin Ho. It was accused that they worked with Lee Jin Ho to create malicious content about Kim Sae Ron. GOLD MEDALIST firmly denies this.
Kim Sae Ron’s contract with Gold Medalist expired in November 2022. Afterward, she was working with a different entertainment company. The manager whom Garo Sero Research Institute claimed to be connected to YouTuber Lee Jin Ho is actually affiliated with that other company and is not an employee of GOLD MEDALIST. Despite this, Garo Sero Research Institute is distorting the facts by making carefully worded statements at press conferences—such as “We are at the stage of identifying the manager from Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, whom Lee Jin Ho called a close friend“—which are designed to avoid legal responsibility while misleading the public.
