Kim Soo Hyun Files ₩12 Billion KRW Lawsuit Against Bereaved Family And Garosero

On March 31, actor Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference in Seoul regarding the allegations of dating the late Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor.
While there will be no separate Q&A session, his agency prepared the conference as an opportunity to “speak to journalists directly” with their statement.
In particular, Kim Soo Hyun also revealed they had taken legal action against the late Kim Sae Ron’s aunt and the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute.
He also emphasized that he did not date her when she was a minor and that it was not true that she made a tragic decision to take her life because of the pressure of debt.
To reveal the truth, we have decided to file a criminal complaint and a civil lawsuit against the people involved. We have filed a lawsuit against the bereaved family, someone claiming to be the aunt, and the operator of the Garosero YouTube channel. We have filed a lawsuit claiming a total of ₩12.0 billion KRW (about $8.16 million USD) in damages to the Seoul Central District Court.
