“KCON LA 2024” Announces Actor Kim Soo Hyun As Host, Shocking Netizens 

Netizens are shocked to see the hottest K-Drama actor hosting a K-Pop convention.

KCON USA, one of the biggest Hallyu-centered music festivals in the world, is gearing up for this year’s anticipated event. M Countdown of CJ ENM’s KCON USA has taken place in the United States each year since 2012, except for years affected by COVID-19, and has expanded to many other countries. KCON USA provides an opportunity for international K-Pop fans to come together and see popular and rising K-Pop acts.

This year, KCON USA will be held July 26-28 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The official artist lineup and hosts were recently revealed.

The KCON USA hosts usually include other K-Pop idols, mainly English speakers. Previous years included IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung, Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan, Rain, Eric Nam, etc.

For KCON LA 2024, former SF9 member and actor Rowoon will host on Friday, July 26, K-Pop soloist Jeon Somi on Saturday, July 27, and actor Kim Soo Hyun on Sunday, July 28.

This year, he also starred in tvN‘s most popular K-Drama ever, Queen of Tears, which broke Crash Landing On You‘s record with its astronomical ratings.
