According To Kim Soo Hyun’s Hilarious “Proof” The Actor Could Have Been In “Squid Game”
As Squid Game continues to reign supreme over Netflix and all other headlines, one of South Korea’s top actors have also fallen into the hole — and it’s none other than Kim Soo Hyun.
A few days ago, F.T. Island member Lee Hong Ki uploaded an Instagram story regarding Squid Game and his close friend, Kim Soo Hyun. The photo that the singer shared with all of his followers was sent to him by the actor himself and it featured a hilarious edit of the famous red light, green light still from the Netflix series.
However, upon closer inspection, it became evidently clear that there was a bit of an edit featuring the one and only Kim Soo Hyun. According to Lee Hong Ki, Kim Soo Hyun sent him this photo edit while making “claims” that he could have been in Squid Game.
The F.T. Island member showed off their close friendship by revealing what he really thought about Kim Soo Hyun’s wild claims.
This is the photo he sent me while saying that he could have been in ‘Squid Game’ too hahaha hyung, if you did, you would have been the first one to die hahaha

Kim Soo Hyun donned a green tracksuit, similar to the one in Squid Game, for one of his films Secretly, Greatly. The actor played a North Korean spy Bang Dong Gu for the 2013 K-Movie and received global success with his portrayal.
The specific photos from the Squid Game edits, however, are from Kim Soo Hyun’s cameo as Bang Dong Gu in Crash Landing On You, where he briefly made an appearance.
We don’t know if Kim Soo Hyun created the edits himself or if he found them somewhere online, but we are thoroughly obsessed!
