Kim Soo Hyun and his legal representatives have released refutations against five of Garo Sero Institute’s pictures they used to claim Kim Soo Hyun dated Kim Sae Ron as a minor.
Kim Soo Hyun’s legal representatives LKB Partners have directly addressed five pictures Garo Sero Institute used support their claim that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were dating while she was a minor. They pointed out both Garo Sero Institute’s claim alongside their refutation of said claim.
The ski trip picture
Garo Sero Institute claimed this picture was taken between 2015 and 2016, using the release date of the Descente ski jackets that the two were wearing as their proof.
The fact check from Kim Soo Hyun’s side states both Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron went to the Vivaldi Ski Resort on January 22, 2020 alongside other GOLD MEDALIST employees, and photos with other employees exist.
The initial Kim Sae Ron upload and the cheek kiss
Garo Sero Institute claims these pictures were taken when Kim Sae Ron was 16-yaers-old and in 9th grade. They said that Kim Soo Hyun kissing a 9th grader on the cheek is disgusting.
The fact check from Kim Soo Hyun’s side states this picture was actually taken after 2019, which makes both individuals adults.
The pantless picture at Kim Sae Ron’s home
Garo Sero Institute claimed they had to release this picture because of Kim Soo Hyun’s arrogance and ignorance to the situation at hand. They stated they would continue to release more picture if he did not admit to dating a minor.
The fact check from Kim Soo Hyun’s side states that Kim Sae Ron moved into “T” apartments in Seoul’s Haengdang neighborhood in January 2020, and that the pictures have no connections into an alleged relationship with a minor.
The picture by her apartment elevator
Garo Sero Institute claims Kim Soo Hyun would frequently visit Kim Sae Ron’s apartment. While her family opposed her meeting Kim Soo Hyun, who is much older, Kim Soo Hyun would continuously approach Kim Sae Ron while she was underage.
The fact check from Kim Soo Hyun’s side states The man in the picture is not Kim Soo Hyun. They reiterated that Kim Soo Hyun has never been to Kim Sae Ron’s old home in Ilsan. The claims made that he visited her home while her family was gone is groundless.
Kim Sae Ron cooked for Kim Soo Hyun and they had soju
Garo Sero Institute claimed Kim Soo Hyun had soju (alcohol) with a minor at 11:20 pm, stating he is trash and alluding that there could have been more than just drinks.
The fact check from Kim Soo Hyun’s side states that while it is true the picture was taken in June 2018, the location is actually Kim Soo Hyun and his family’s apartment in Seoul’s Seongsu neighborhood. Kim Sae Ron visited to hang out with Kim Soo Hyun while he was on holiday from the military, and his family was also present. They stated that at the time, the two were not in a romantic relationship.
