Actress Kim Tae Ri Compared Her “Twenty Five, Twenty One” Uniform To Her Old One, And Her Honesty Was Brutal
Netflix‘s Twenty Five, Twenty One recently released its final episode after two months of airing. Following its conclusion, actress Kim Tae Ri (Na Hee Do) sat down for an interview where she talked about the K-Drama.
One of the topics she discussed was her wardrobe during the high school scenes of the show. She loved wearing Na Hee Do’s school uniform despite having graduated from high school over a decade ago.
I loved [the opportunity of] wearing the school uniform even though I’m over 30 years old.
— Kim Tae Ri
She praised the costume team for choosing such a cute design. In fact, she openly compared it to her own high school uniform which she deemed “ugly.”
When I was in high school, my uniform was ugly. Hee Do’s was pretty.

Compared to her own long-sleeved, plaid vest and skirt combination, Na Hee Do wore a short-sleeved style that had a more trendy touch.
Besides being fun to wear, she also pointed out that the uniform helped her internalize her youthful character better.
Being in a school uniform and acting in it has helped me greatly with identifying as Na Hee Do and relating to that character.
— Kim Tae Ri
Twenty Five, Twenty One is a K-Drama that focuses on the friendship and romance of fencing genius Na Hee Do and reporter Baek Yi Jin from 1988 to 2021.
