Kim Woojin Unveils The Three Concepts Of His Solo Debut During Album Unboxing
During a recent video on his official YouTube channel, Kim Woojin premiered the very first album unboxing for his solo debut, The moment : 未成年, a minor.
Eager to give his fans (Cubs) a sneak preview, he smiled brightly while clapping his hands in excitement before diving in.
As Woojin has three different versions of the album (A, B, and C), he made sure to dedicate time to each one individually. Not only did he describe every aspect of their contents, but he also gave a personal review of all of them at the end!
While the themes may be different depending on which version you get, what comes inside is essentially the same: two photocards (one regular and one film style), a postcard, a sticker set, a poster, the CD itself, and a photo book!
When it came to Album A, Woojin went through a few options before settling on a single word to describe it: mood!
I think Version A has a sentimental atmosphere. Version A is all about atmosphere… the mood! Oh, mood is better~ Version A is all about the mood (laughs)
— Woojin
Considering the elements of Album B, Woojin figured that it had a lot more of broad of a concept, so he picked the color “Purple” as its specific phrase.
I thought about it for Version B – it’s a bit simple. The color purple has a good feeling. Because it has a lot of purple (in the photos), Version B is purple!
— Woojin
For Album C, Woojin faked out everyone and started his analysis with another color by saying “It’s pink… Not!” with cheeky grin. He then proceeded to talk about his actual thoughts regarding the theme.
Version C is boyish charm? (Laughs) I think it’s something like that. Version C is a boy – it’s very fresh!
— Woojin
Woojin’s last surprise for Cubs was that all three albums actually connect to form one big design! The lines that swirl around each album cover flow seamlessly into the other versions.
