“King The Land” Hits #1 On Various Netflix Country Charts And Koreans Couldn’t Be Prouder

It later saw a surge in viewership after the 3rd episode, as viewers warmed up to its “2000s K-Drama” quirks.
As King The Land nears its halfway mark, the show has finally hit its stride. Between June 26 and July 2, 2023, it had a total of 4,000,000 legal, individual views on Netflix alone. It marked a total of 24,500,000 viewed hours as well. This made it the top Non-English show on Netflix Global Top 10.
Not only this, it hit #1 on 7 countries including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It remained in the top 10 list in 24 other countries. As for non-Netflix views, the show hit a domestic rating of 12% for episode 6.
The Korean public had nothing but praise for the show.
