KISS OF LIFE’s Belle Gets Flamed After Covering TXT Yeonjun’s “GGUM” — Apologizes For Her Actions
KISS OF LIFE‘s Belle was flamed recently by fans of TXT after her cover of Yeonjun‘s “GGUM” challenge. She danced to the song during a recent mini-fanmeeting.

Belle seemed reluctant to do the dance, screaming as she did it. TXT fans felt that she had made it “obvious” that she didn’t want to do the challenge, finding it disrespectful.
She’s making it so obvious to anyone who’s watching that she doesn’t want to do it. She even said she didn’t want to. I was saying that it is unpleasant to see this kind of treatment from a hoobae. If you watch other videos, she personally said herself that she really didn’t want to do it.

The issue escalated as a fan who had posted the fancam captioned it in a way that made it seem as if Belle did not want to do the challenge.

The original fancam of her doing the dance has since been deleted, but it did not stop the criticism. On the next day, Belle apologized through her subscription message service.
I think I behaved in a way that caused misunderstanding in the video of me doing Yeonjun sunbaenim’s “GGUM” challenge. It was a corner where we received suggestions for challenges that the members would definitely not do, and I was unable to familiarize myself with the choreography properly, so the members were teasing me saying that Belle was going to show fans a cool and hip dance. I wanted to do well as I was showing it to so many KISSYs, but I was embarrassed and so I think I acted even more so like that… To be honest, it is a song that all the members really love and we even wanted to do the challenge for real! I also said during the mini-fanmeeting that I would practice it more and show you guys properly! Hehe. I’m sorry to have caused a misunderstanding, and I’ll become a more mindful Belle in the future. I really didn’t mean it that way, so I hope there’s no more misunderstandings!
