On September 22, a post titled “KISS OF LIFE’s Concert Is Empty” went viral. The post has since been viewed over 100k times.

In the post, the author uploaded an alleged seating chart for KISS OF LIFE’s Korean concert. According to the seating chart, there are still many seats available for the show.

The author goes on to write that the group may have bit off more than they could chew considering they are still a fairly new group.

They claimed in the media that they sold out all of their shows overseas but their Korean concert is going to be empty. They booked all of the venue’s halls thinking that “Sticky” alone would bring in seats, but I don’t think they even sold half the seats.

Netizens reacted to the post, with many stating that the group’s decision to hold a large concert may have been premature.

  • “I think it was too soon. They don’t have many songs and aren’t as established.”
  • “This is really eating into their image. I think they could fill the concert if they promote it but you can tell the label is desperate for money because they keep rushing things. Don’t rush it, let the group take their time to grow.”
  • “Using such a large venue was a mistake. The group last performed at a much smaller venue. I think the label overestimated themselves, plus regular people (non-fans) don’t go to concerts these days because they are so expensive.”
  • “They should have booked the venue when the group is 2-3 years old. I think it was a mistake since their fandom isn’t very large and the ticket prices are high relative to their popularity.”
  • “You can tell by their first week sales that their fandom isn’t very large.”
  • “Girl groups, who aren’t as popular as IU, need to be modest when choosing their concert venues.”
