KISS OF LIFE’s Belle Mourns The Passing Of Her Grandfather

Singer Shim Shin, the father of KISS OF LIFE member Belle, has lost his father. 

According to reports, Shim Shin’s father, Shim Jung Bo, passed away on February 12, KST, at 90 years of age. His funeral will be held at Namdaejeon Funeral Home, Special Room 2. The funeral service is scheduled for February 14, KST.

Shim Shin made his debut in 1990 with the single “I Love To Your Sadness” and gained explosive popularity with songs like “Greedy” and “Only One For Me.” He became a major figure in the Korean music industry in the 90s and is still a revered musician.

Shim’s daughter, Belle (real name Shim Hye Won), is a member of the fifth-generation girl group KISS OF LIFE. The group debuted in 2023 and has gained significant popularity with back-to-back hits such as “Midas Touch,” “Sticky,” and “Igloo.”
