KISS OF LIFE’s Toronto Concert Cancellation Met With Criticism
Girl group KISS OF LIFE‘s label, S2 Entertainment, is currently facing heat for canceling the group’s Toronto concert at the last minute.
KISS OF LIFE is currently on its first world tour and was supposed to hold a concert in Toronto, Canada, on November 13. But on the very day of the concert, S2 Entertainment sent out a notification informing ticket holders that the show had been cancelled.
S2 Entertainment’s statement didn’t specify any reason for the cancellation and assured that those who purchased tickets would be fully refunded. The notification didn’t mention any possibility of the concert being rescheduled. The venue where KISS OF LIFE was supposed to perform also put out a notice about the cancellation without providing much specific details.

While concert cancellations are nothing unusual, the fact that S2 Entertainment didn’t provide any reason for it and that the notification was sent out on the very day of the show has ticked off many netizens. Some also pointed out that apart from the ticket, most fans would have also borne the cost of traveling and accommodation, which would go to waste.
- “Wow, can they really do that?”
- “Huh??”
- “Usually, when the rental fee is higher than the ticket sales, they cancel the performance and announce it like this. This is quite common at North American concerts. Some Korean artists also did the same in Los Angeles not too long ago.”
- “It seems like a company-related issue, but since they gave the notice last minute, fans are going to be really p*ssed.”
-
“Are they going to compensate for the airfare and hotel fees of the people who booked flights to go see the concert? This must be really frustrating.”
-
“They’re in the middle of the tour, but isn’t it almost over? The fans living there must have been really looking forward to it. What a shame.”
