“Knowing Bros” Cast Under Fire For Making Insulting Remarks Against DinDin

TVXQ‘s Yunho and DinDin recently appeared on JTBC‘s Knowing Bros, but the cast of the show is taking heat for making insulting remarks against DinDin during one of his stories.

DinDin was sharing a story about the time his father took the 6 bottles of rice wine he received as a gift and the dispute that unfolded.

I told my dad, ‘You can’t thank me if you took it without asking. Do you have any idea how much they cost?’

And that’s when the cast began criticizing DinDin for being ungrateful.

If you think about how much money he spent on you to raise you, he deserves 60 bottles of rice wine. How can you fight over 6?

But that was just the beginning of their remarks that sparked controversy.

Lee Soo Geun claimed to take DinDin’s side, but also made a joking remark about DinDin’s father.

I’m going to take your side. But I think your father has kleptomania.

When DinDin added that his father finished all 6 bottles, the remarks that are now taking heat continued.

You should’ve ordered him more. Couldn’t you pick them up directly from the factory?

And although DinDin wrapped up his story by concluding that they made up and he was glad his father enjoyed the rice wine, netizens felt uncomfortable by the remarks made by the cast.

• That episode was so uncomfortable to watch.
• It was rude to make DinDin look like a bad son.
• I know they’re doing it for fun, but they should know their limits.

On the other hand, some believe the remarks are nothing to fuss over.

• If DinDin was uncomfortable, they would’ve edited it out.
