Korean Actress Claims NewJeans’ Hanni Blatantly Stared At Her At The “Blue Dragon Film Awards”
A Korean actress who is a huge fan of NewJeans member Hanni recently shared an unforgettable moment she had with the idol.
Actress Ahn Eun Jin, who recently proved her next-level acting skills through the hit K-Drama My Dearest, appeared as a guest on the tvN talk show You Quiz on the Block.
During her interview with hosts Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho, Ahn Eun Jin revealed that she is a K-Pop fan and enjoys fangirling over her favorite idol groups, BLACKPINK and NewJeans.
She excitedly mentioned seeing NewJeans at the Blue Dragon Awards held on November 24, where they performed their hit songs. In a clip of the performance, Ahn Eun Jin was captured excitedly fangirling while watching her favorite group perform “Super Shy.”
Ahn Eun Jin then shared a successful fangirl moment she had during NewJeans’ performance.
I saw NewJeans that day, and I’m not lying—my favorite member is Hanni, right? Well, she stared straight at me for five seconds.

When the hosts joked that she must be exaggerating, she persisted that she was telling the truth. She even had a witness who saw this happen: actor Ryu Jun Yeol.
I was staring at Hanni as if I was in a trance, when Ryu Jun Yeol who was next to me said, ‘Hey, she’s looking at you.’ It was to that point; she really stared right at me for five seconds! I thought my heart was going to stop beating.

Jo Se Ho asked if she had confirmed this with Hanni, and Ahn Eun Jin re-emphasized that Ryu Jun Yeol was the witness who could verify the facts.
Yoo Jae Suk also poked fun at her, saying Hanni could have been looking at the two people sitting next to her. However, Ahn Eun Jin was confident that it was her.

She explained further that her seats were very close to the stage, making it clear to see who Hanni was looking at. Also, she moved her hands around excitedly during the performance, making her more noticeable to Hanni.
Ahn Eun Jin noted that the Blue Dragon Awards was a spectacular day for her despite her wardrobe malfunction.
Ahn Eun Jin adorably mentioned that seeing Hanni helped her recover from the sadness and embarrassment she felt from the dress malfunction.
