Korean media outlets are being criticized for their handling and reporting differences of the controversy regarding Kim Soo Hyun and the late actress Kim Sae Ron.
On March 19, controversial YouTube Lee Jin Ho posted a video claiming Kim Sae Ron was allegedly married and pregnant before her death.
Netizens were furious when the video was posted, believing it was defaming the late actress and used to cover the initial controversy.
After the bombshell reveal, screenshots of Korean media outlets writing about the issue were shared on theqoo.
The post referred to the fact that when the initial news on Kim Soo Hyun was broken, there weren’t any news articles, but there were when Lee Jin Ho’s video was shown, and they thought it disrespected the late actress.
When the photo was posted, netizens noticed how the videos from the Garosero videos hadn’t been making headlines in many media outlets, yet as soon as something solely about Kim Sae Ron was posted, the articles were almost instant.
